overall observation of my blog through Google analytics from Jan 20th
2020 to Feb 24th 2020.
1. Audience Overview:
The audience metrics provided a deep insight on user interactions
over my blog. Overall, I had 858 page views and 37.74% bounce rate. On average
it has 257 sessions that lasted for 3 minutes and 34 seconds with users
exploring 3.34 pages per session with a satisfactory performance.
1.1. Audience Drill down (Device, Location, Browser Insights):
As we can see, English with 47.62% is the highest chosen
language of the user's on my blog and 86.21% are from Ireland in the city
Dublin. Also the device contribution showed an equal metrics from Desktop and Mobile.
The top 3 mobiles used are iPhone, OnePlus and Huawei mostly from Chrome Browser.
2. Acquisition Overview:
We can see through the acquisition metrics that, user mostly
come from direct, social and referral where social users illustrated the
highest bounce rate of 42.86%. The top 3 channel sources were from
direct (40.8%) then blogger.com (38.8%) and elearning.dbs.ie (13.6%).
3. Behaviour Overview
3.1. Blog performance Overview:
This is a short brief of my blog within 1 month duration.
Article 1 (Introduction to big data) has the highest page view of 173.
Article 3 (Value in big data for marketing) has 34 highest comments.
Article 4 (Benefits and challenges of using customer data in marketing) has the highest time spent on page with no bounce rate. These three blog articles have performed well based on interactions, creating value, visually appealing and content. I am concluding with a strong note that this was a very quick and useful practical assignment.
