Artificial Intelligence in Marketing




Artificial intelligence (AI) has shaped marketing and business. Each time we scroll, click or purchase something on web, huge amount of data is generated. Managing this data and understanding each individual on a personal level is difficult. AI integrated system collects the data, tracks and uses to prepare modern frameworks (Karlson, 2017) from which marketers get micro-macro level customer behaviour insights to know the audience in personally and to drive digital revenue.



Predictive analysis and forecasting can be said as the most significant AI development to the marketing world, as it allows marketers optimize high value leads to their customers present as well as for the future. AI algorithms provides marketers to make an increasing number of connections by understanding customer characteristics. This enables the creation of audience hyper-segmented and future strategies. (EIBermawy, 2019)
On deep understanding the customer behaviour, interest and demographical info, highly personalized advertisements can be created to deliver to extremely targeted personas and efficient targeted audience segments.
AI software’s and platforms offers a huge advantage for advertisers to serve their clients with specific content recommendations consistently (Cannella, 2018). This marketing tactic is used by brands like Netflix and YouTube to serve additional or specific content the user is interested in to drive high engagement. Furthermore, by predicting the peak engagement time, AI helps marketers to optimize engagement (Knippel, 2019) by running customer experience advertisements and AI powered campaigns to deliver the right message to the right customer at the right time which in-return gives marketers the ability to achieve increased lead qualification and scoring.
Marketers create multiple versions of creatives but, an automated AI determines to deliver specific creatives to an individual at a specific time, AI automated email marketing tactic and its self-constant learning drives improved sales (Stelzner, 2019). AI Chatbots provided services to customer inquiries 24/7 and applicable for direct and indirect and conversational marketing to make more sales and conversion faster.
